Introducing: Community Curation

I added a new feature to the web site yesterday that has me quite excited. I call it "community curation" because it's a way for you, as a member of our growing musical community, to have some input into the music The Dream Society brings to town.

If you click on the Engage link above and then select Curate, you'll be presented with the name of an artist and will then be able to say how likely it is you'd buy a ticket to see that artist. (Note that this only works if you're logged in.) If you cast a vote, you'll then get another artist to vote on. And if you don't want to vote on one, you simply re-load the page to get another.

Right now, we have about 700 artists on file, which I scraped from the web pages of Canada's better known agencies. But in the near future, I'll allow memvers of our community to add additional artists that we should be thinking about bring to our region.
