James Keelaghan

James Keelaghan, born October 28, 1959 in Calgary, Alberta, is a Juno Award-winning Canadian folk singer-songwriter known for his lilting baritone voice, driving rhythm guitar, and masterful storytelling. Now based in Perth, Ontario, Keelaghan began performing at Calgary folk venues while studying history at the University of Calgary in the early 1980s, and his academic background informs the narrative and historical depth of his songwriting.
