About

Cousin Harley is a Canadian rockabilly band led by guitarist, vocalist and songwriter Paul Pigat. The other members of the band include Keith Picot on double bass and drummer Jesse Cahill. Hailing from Vancouver BC, Canada, Cousin Harley can explode like an active volcano, swing like the Basie band, and has been rocking international audiences for 20 years. Considered to be western Canada's premier rockabilly and roots bands, their style is deeply rooted in the playing of Les Paul, Charlie Christian and Link Wray with a modern twist. The band has a hard-earned reputation for delivering everything from hot-rod rockabilly to foot stomping vintage country and western swing. "Let's Go!" is Cousin Harley's seventh release, and it's fair to say this latest outing is a mashup of Johnny Cash in rockabilly mode, the bluesy side of the Blasters, and the infectious rockabilly of the Stray Cats. Paul Pigat is an internationally respected guitarist who has worked with Neko Case, the Sojourners, and many other notable artists. The band's high-energy performances, virtuosic musicianship, and authentic approach to rockabilly and roots music have made them fixtures of the Vancouver music scene and favorites on the Canadian roots music circuit. Their ability to honor the traditions of 1950s rockabilly while bringing contemporary energy and creativity has earned them a devoted following across North America.
