About

Luca Fogale is a Canadian pop singer-songwriter from Burnaby, British Columbia, whose soft yet penetrating voice reveals hidden truths and suppressed emotions. Raised on a steady diet of Nina Simone and Joni Mitchell, Fogale possesses a voice that cuts deep beneath the surface. After quitting his studies at the University of British Columbia, he began writing songs on piano and guitar, two instruments he had been casually playing, after realizing music was an outlet he desperately craved. Following his participation in the Peak Performance Project in 2013, Fogale released his debut album Safety in 2016, establishing himself as an artist to watch. He released the singles I Don't Want to Lose You in 2017 and What I Came Here For in 2018 before his breakthrough album Nothing Is Lost in 2020, which was nominated for a Juno Award for Adult Contemporary Album of the Year at the 2022 Junos. His 2023 follow-up Run Where the Light Calls received another Juno nomination at the 2024 awards. Luca's music has been featured on popular television shows including Grey's Anatomy, NCIS: Los Angeles, and Station 19, helping him accumulate over 100 million streams across major platforms. He has toured extensively across Canada, the United States, and Europe, building a devoted following drawn to his honest, emotionally resonant songwriting and his ability to create intimate moments even in large venues. With his gift for crafting memorable melodies and lyrics that capture both specific moments and universal human experiences, Luca Fogale has established himself as one of Canada's most compelling contemporary singer-songwriters.
