Christian Sean

Christian Sean is a singer, producer, and music maker from Montreal. As a kid, he was drawn to indie rock and left-field electronics, part of a Montreal scene that disavowed commerciality in favour of innovation. He returned to Montreal and threw himself into the city's music scene, whether it was touring arenas in a pop star's backing band or playing a left-field electronic show in an art gallery. The pandemic wiped the slate clean, and he started to write once more, refusing to be pressured by expectations. Christian Sean released his debut album 'Hallelujah Showers' in January 2025 via Bonsound. 'Hallelujah Showers' was really a solitary work, approached like a lone painter, or a beat maker would. Christian Sean is a believer in the transformative power of pop music. His work has been noted as 'one of the most interesting indie talents' by critics. His music blends indie sensibilities with experimental pop production, drawing from his diverse background in both indie rock and electronic music to create a sound that is both accessible and artistically ambitious.
