About

Tom Waters is a London-based rising star in Rhythm & Blues, Jazz, Funk, Blues & Latin music who has traveled the world from pre-teenage years playing with his father, renowned UK pianist Ben Waters. Waters began playing saxophone at age 12 when the instrument was gifted to him by members of The Rolling Stones, who his father had backed up on keyboards many times. Tom has graduated from London's Royal Academy of Music and established himself in the UK music scene, playing and/or recording with luminaries such as The Rolling Stones, Jeff Beck, George Thorogood, Ray Davies and the BB King All Stars. He is also a regular with Jools Holland's R&B Orchestra. He also leads his own band that, on the strength of a string of successful tours, led to TV and radio appearances across France and Germany. While based in the UK, Waters has performed internationally including tours in Canada, bringing his high-energy saxophone-driven blues, jazz, and R&B to audiences worldwide. With his pedigree, exceptional musicianship on saxophone, and connections to blues and rock royalty, Tom Waters represents a new generation carrying forward the traditions of blues, jazz, and R&B with youthful energy and world-class skill.
