Graham Ord Blues Revue is led by British/Canadian award-winning singer-songwriter, guitarist, and producer Graham Ord (born March 22, 1961 in England, now based in Kelowna, BC, Canada). Drawing from diverse influences within blues, soul, and gospel, Graham is widely respected as a versatile, engaging, and compelling performer whose live shows continually attract repeat audiences. The idea behind the 'Blues Revue' is for Graham to gather specific musicians for different projects and shows - a kind of revolving band of great friends and fine musicians where they can focus on the Blues. This dynamic approach allows Graham to collaborate with a talented roster of musicians who share a passion for live performance and the power of the Blues. To date, he has made 11 solo recordings and has featured on numerous collaborative projects. Graham Ord's guitar work ranges from delicate fingerpicking to powerful electric blues, and his warm, soulful vocals convey both joy and heartache with equal authenticity. The Blues Revue format keeps performances fresh and exciting, as different configurations of the band bring new energy and interpretation to both classic blues standards and original compositions.
