Hayley Wallis and The Bright Futures is a pop/R&B project led by Vancouver-based singer-songwriter Hayley Wallis from the Kitasoo Xais Xais Nation of Klemtu BC. Originally from Klemtu, a small, isolated island located in the heart of the Great Bear Rainforest in British Columbia, Hayley has been carving out a space for herself in the Vancouver music scene with her soulful pop gems. The Bright Futures band consists of Stephanie Jackson on keys/guitar/vocals, Timothy Charman on bass, and Michael Guglia on drums. Hayley is well on her way to breaking into the scene with her debut EP Halulu, a collection of relatable soulful pop songs focusing on her passion for storytelling. Her debut single, 'Coffee Cup,' an affecting pop anthem about mental health and reaching out for help, reached number one on NCI's Indigenous Music Countdown and landed her in CBC's Searchlight top 100. With multiple singles reaching number one on NCI's Indigenous Music Countdown, alongside various adds to SiriusXM's Indigiverse & Poplandia, and the Indigenous Spotify Editorial, this emerging star is poised for much bigger horizons. Her music combines contemporary pop production with R&B vocals and deeply personal songwriting.
