Ivan Hartle

Ivan Hartle is a Vancouver-born musician who molds a vintage sonic aesthetic with modern elements, creating a distinctive bluesy soul sound. Pivoting from a successful US college baseball career into music, he's been featured as a popular and emerging artist by DailyHive Canada. His bluesy, soul singer-songwriter stylings are drawn from the classic sounds of Sam Cooke and Donny Hathaway, to new age artists like Son Little, John Mayer, Amos Lee, and Leon Bridges. Ivan's memorable live act is flush with melodic grooves and strong, soulful vocals. He has performed at notable festivals including Rifflandia, Phillips Backyard, Shipyards, Vancouver International Jazz, Surrey Fusion, Music BC's 'Let's Hear It' and NXNE.
