JP Maurice is a Vancouver-based musician with an impressive 15-year journey in the contemporary music landscape, working in the Indie Alt Pop Rock genre. His first official solo release was 2011's 'Nourishment.' JP Maurice fronted a band called Maurice that was signed to Warner US/143 and released an album 'Young People With Faces' executive produced by multi-Grammy award winner David Foster. He was also a participant on CTV's 'The Launch' in 2018. JP Maurice has released five albums, with his latest being 'Pressure Makes Diamonds' (2021) and 'Twins EP' (2023). His previous releases include the alt-country-infused rock album 'Boys' (2018) and the moody, pop-noir sensation 'Girls' (2017). His earnest indie-pop beginnings have evolved into a more mature, polished sound, with sweeping melodies punctuated by powerful vocals. JP Maurice also works as a producer and has a real love and passion for music production in the studio.
