Kitty & The Rooster & The Black of Hearts

This is a collaborative performance featuring two British Columbia rock bands. Kitty & The Rooster is a surf rock n' roll duo from Vancouver, Canada featuring Jodie Ponto on the stand-up cocktail drumkit and Noah Walker on electric guitar, known for their surf-tastic hooks, clever lyrics, and ridiculously fun shows. The band has toured all across Canada, played festivals including Vancouver Folk Fest, opened for Shannon & The Clams, and released two albums called 'One Gig Hard Drive' and 'Ain't Pussyfootin' Around.' The Black of Hearts is a Rock 'n Roll band from Summerland BC known for catchy melodies, supreme musicianship and packed dance floors. They play original songs with raw driving energy spanning many genres of Rock. When these two bands come together for performances, audiences get a double dose of high-energy rock and roll from two of BC's most exciting rock acts. Both bands share a commitment to authentic rock music, energetic live performances, and a DIY spirit that has made them favorites in the BC music scene.
