KLIFFS

KLIFFS consists of Mark Bérubé and Kristina Koropecki, who were previously known as the band Mark Berube and have been touring and releasing albums internationally for over 10 years. Now based in northern Germany's music metropolis Hamburg, they merge various styles – jazz, classical, pop, funk, and latin – into a distinctive sound. The duo recorded their album in Berlin at Akkerbouw Studios in the spring of 2022, with all songs written and composed by KLIFFS. Their music represents a sophisticated blend of influences, showcasing both musicians' versatility and their ability to create compelling arrangements as a duo. The name change to KLIFFS represents an evolution in their artistic approach, allowing them to explore new sonic territories while maintaining the core musical relationship that has sustained them through years of touring and recording. Based in Hamburg, one of Europe's most vibrant music cities, KLIFFS continues to create music that crosses genre boundaries and defies easy categorization, appealing to listeners who appreciate musical adventure and craftsmanship.
