Leila Naderi, better known by her stage name Leila Neverland, has been crafting soundscapes and bending genre lines since 2009 as a pianist, vocalist, and composer based in British Columbia. Inspired by classical, jazz, R&B, soul, the 90s and art pop, Leila creates music for those who rise. She released her first professionally recorded and self-produced solo album 'Little Big Storm' on December 21, 2021. Her first commercially distributed trio album 'Mountain Sound' featured Nils Loewen on cello and Dylan Ranney on drums. In 2023, she released a nine-song live album arranged for an eight-piece band. She has a forthcoming album recorded at Lightmachine Records in Vancouver, mastered by Grammy-winning legend Harry Weinberg, due in 2026. Leila is also exploring a hybrid of music, theatre, and visual art through her Dreamscape Cabaret. Reviewers have noted that she weaves narrative lyrics within powerful vocals to pull audiences in, creating avant-garde concerts reminiscent of old cinema. Her music represents a fearless exploration of artistic possibilities, combining technical excellence with theatrical flair.
