Marito Lopez

Marito Lopez is a Salvadoran-born Canadian stand-up comedian and actor most noted for his recurring role as Carlito in the 2024 comedy series 'One More Time.' Born in El Salvador, he immigrated to Canada with his family at the tender age of four, growing up in Calgary, Alberta. Marito started his comedy career in 2009 in Calgary and now lives in Toronto, Ontario. His fiery, high-energy and charismatic persona has landed him on stages and screens across the country, including appearances at the Hubcap Comedy Festival, NXNE, JFL42, MTV Canada and countless comedy clubs. In 2015, in association with his comedy collective Runnin' At The Mouth, Marito launched a parody rap album, 'Wit' My Woes,' which went number one on iTunes. He released his debut comedy album, 'Beautiful Papi,' in 2022. He appeared in the stand-up comedy performance television series 'The New Wave of Standup' and 'Comedy Night with Rick Mercer.' In 2024, he appeared in two episodes of the fourth season of 'Roast Battle Canada.' He received two Canadian Screen Award nominations at the 13th Canadian Screen Awards in 2025 for his performances.
