Nastasia Y

Nastasia Y is a Ukraine-born eclectic musical artist & entrepreneur living in Toronto, Canada. Previously known as Stacey Y, she is often backed up by her band DoVira, combining folk roots with jazz, pop, rock, electronic and world fusion music. Nastasia blends jazz and funk with ancient Slavic folk, carrying a mission to sing to the world about Ukraine. Her music reflects her journey from growing up in Kyiv to her late father's folk/protest songs to Canada's jazz scene. Apart from her artistic work, Nastasia is also the CEO, Founder & Owner of the entertainment company StereoFlavour, which has provided top-caliber live music & planning services for weddings & events since its inception in 2010. As an artist who bridges multiple worlds – Ukrainian traditional music, North American jazz and pop, and contemporary fusion – Nastasia Y creates music that educates and entertains. Her performances celebrate Ukrainian culture while demonstrating its relevance and beauty to diverse audiences.
