Matt Storm & His Band

Matt Storm is a Singer/Songwriter from Vancouver B.C. whose sound is an eclectic mix of soul, folk and pop. As a multi-instrumentalist and songwriter, Matt produces and records all his own work at East Vancouver's Orchid Studios. His sound can be described as indie soul, playing on classic references such as Bill Withers and Donny Hathaway, intertwined with new sounds like Emily King, Nick Hakim and Ray LaMontagne. In 2020, Matt released what would become his biggest song 'We Went Our Own Ways,' which was featured on the highly popular YouTube channel 'Sailing La Vagabonde' and landed multiple Spotify Editorials, currently sitting at 1.8 Million streams. He has performed extensively at festivals like Victoria's Rifflandia and Vancouver's Mural Fest. In February 2023, Matt took his second trip to Slovakia for a 5-show tour, as well as performing 5 shows in London UK, connecting with international audiences and refining his live show. Matt Storm and The Raindrops brings his indie soul sound to life with a full band, featuring additional musicians who support his vision. The band format allows Matt's sophisticated songwriting and soulful vocals to shine in a richer, fuller sonic context.
