About

Tony Stevens is a Canadian country singer and songwriter. Stevens was raised in Coquitlam, British Columbia, but moved to Surrey when he was thirteen years old. In his twenties, he elected not to pursue a full-time music career as he was working a career in construction, got married, and was starting a family. However, a life-changing event altered his path. More than a decade ago, Stevens survived a wakeboarding accident in Tulameen, northwest of Princeton. He had internal brain bleed. It got to the point where the bleeding was pooling in my skull and pushing my brain into the other side of my skull, creating blindness, basically. After a serious brain injury in 2012 shifted his path from construction to music, Stevens launched his music career in 2021, blending the raw energy of rock influences with classic country storytelling. He broke through with the 2024 hit 'Whiskey In Colorado', which charted in the Top 10. In mid-September, first as a Breakthrough Artist/Group of the Year award-nominee at the Canadian Country Music Association awards in Kelowna. Stevens recently relocated from Surrey, BC to southern Alberta, where his record label (Willing Records) is based.
