Cam Kahin is a singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and producer based in Toronto, Canada. Cam has been playing music since he was 12 years old and has been developing his skill set ever since. Kahin grew up in Dunnville, a small town in Ontario between Hamilton and Niagara, and lived there until September 2023 when he moved to Toronto. Growing up as a young black man in a predominantly white town, he found his race questioned the older he got, especially in relation to the music he was listening to. 21-year old Toronto alt-punk up-and-comer Cam Kahin makes fuzzy prog garage rock and earworm guitar sludge. He describes his sound as 'Angsty unpredictable alt-rock.' Kahin released two singles in 2021 followed by his debut six-song EP, 'LET IT SINK IN,' in early 2022—all recorded in his Dunnville bedroom, and CBC named him one of the country's top five 'fearless new rock voices.' After playing an EP release show at the headquarters of Dine Alone, Kahin signed with the Canadian label and began working on new songs. Cam's debut album is set to release in 2025 through Dine Alone Records.
