Eric Brandon is a singer-songwriter from Hamilton, Ontario, whose heartfelt acoustic guitar-driven ballads and indie-folk sound have earned him recognition across Canada. His musical journey began in local rock bands, but his passion for storytelling drove a growing fascination with folk music and the singer-songwriter tradition. Drawing influences from artists like Bob Dylan, John Mayer, Ben Howard, and Ryan Adams, Brandon has developed a super soulful edge that resonates deeply with listeners.
At only 17, Brandon released his first EP titled "Stories" under Other Songs Music, a Hamilton record label known for local folk music. Shortly after this release, Eric found himself on the road at age 19 as a hired musician, traveling across North America backing and eventually opening for the Juno Award-winning band The City Harmonic.
Brandon's career continued to build momentum as he placed as a finalist in the 2018 Canada's Walk of Fame RBC Emerging Musician Program, a prestigious recognition that led to touring the east coast of Canada with VIA Rail and working alongside FACTOR. His album "Old Love" was released in 2017, followed by work on a 2020 full-length release. Eric Brandon continues to hit audiences right in the feels with his emotionally resonant performances that showcase his gift for turning personal experiences into universally relatable musical stories.
