Paul Langlois was born on August 23, 1964, in Ottawa, and is known for his award-winning guitar work as a member of The Tragically Hip, and is a guitarist, vocalist, and songwriter from Kingston, Ontario. The Tragically Hip formed in 1984 and he joined the lineup in 1986. The Tragically Hip was a Canadian rock band formed in Kingston, Ontario in 1984, consisting of vocalist Gord Downie, guitarist Paul Langlois, guitarist Rob Baker, bassist Gord Sinclair, and drummer Johnny Fay. Aside from playing in the band he released a solo album called 'Not Guilty' in 2012. The Tragically Hip released 13 studio albums, two live albums, two EPs, and over 50 singles over a 33-year career, and received numerous Canadian music awards, including 17 Juno Awards.
