Good Lovelies is a Canadian folk/country harmony trio comprising Caroline Brooks, Kerri Ough, and Sue Passmore, who were each solo artists in the Toronto area when they came together in 2006 to perform at a Christmas concert at Toronto's Gladstone Hotel. After coming together in 2006, they subsequently decided to continue working together, releasing their debut EP "Oh My" in 2007. The trio are celebrated for their nostalgic sound that blends folk-roots, old-time swing, soul, and bluegrass, with touches of Pop mixed in for good measure. Their album "Good Lovelies" won the JUNO Award for Roots & Traditional Album of the Year – Group at the 2010 JUNO Awards. They won the 2009 New Emerging Artist Award at the Canadian Folk Music Awards. "Let the Rain Fall," their third full-length album, was nominated for the 2012 JUNO for Roots/Traditional Album of the Year. Their live album "Live at Revolution" won two 2013 Canadian Folk Music Awards for Best Vocal Group & Best Ensemble. Since their debut in 2006, the Good Lovelies have toured extensively, earning a JUNO Award, a SOCAN #1 Single, and four Canadian Folk Music Awards. The group recently won vocal group of the year for "We Will Never Be the Same" at the 2025 Canadian Folk Music Awards. Good Lovelies' music is characterized by stunning three-part harmonies, engaging stage presence, and songs that range from contemplative to uplifting.
