Caity Gyorgy (pronounced George) is a 3-time JUNO Award-winning Canadian jazz vocalist from Calgary, Alberta. At just 27 years old, she has already claimed three JUNO Awards for Best Jazz Vocal Album: in 2022 for her EP "Now Pronouncing: Caity Gyorgy," in 2023 for her debut LP "Featuring," and in 2025 for her LP "Hello!" Caity is known for singing bebop and swing music with remarkable skill and authenticity. She has performed at jazz clubs and festivals across Canada, Mexico, Finland, Japan, and the USA, and has worked and recorded with incredible musicians including Christine Jensen, Pat LaBarbera, Jocelyn Gould, Ira Coleman, The UMO Helsinki Jazz Orchestra, Bryn Roberts, and Joe LaBarbera. In addition to performing, Caity is an award-winning songwriter and composes music and lyrics in the style of the Great American Songbook, demonstrating a deep understanding of jazz traditions while bringing her own contemporary perspective. She is also a sought-after clinician and is on faculty as a vocal jazz instructor at the Yukon Summer Music Camp in Whitehorse, Yukon, and the Interprovincial Music Camp in McKellar, Ontario. She was recently crowned the Grand Prize Winner of the 2021 John Lennon Songwriting Contest in the Jazz category for her song "Secret Safe." She is currently signed to Brooklyn label La Reserve Records. Caity Gyorgy's technical prowess, impeccable phrasing, and joyful approach to jazz have established her as one of the most exciting young voices in contemporary jazz.
