Mallory Chipman is an award-winning musician, songwriter, and producer from Edmonton, Canada. Throughout her decade-long career, she has boldly traversed genres and released five albums to critical acclaim, both with her solo project and her band The Goddamsels. Having grown up with family members that included a grandfather who was a professional jazz pianist, a mother who loved New Wave, and a father who was into '80s hair metal, she developed eclectic musical tastes. She herself studied musical theatre and opera as a teen, later earning a Bachelor of Music degree and teaching voice at MacEwan University in Edmonton. Along the way, she has performed in venues across Canada and the U.K., even landing gigs as a backup singer for Heart and on the Roy Orbison hologram tour. While Mallory has already made her mark on the jazz scene with two critically acclaimed solo albums showcasing her dynamic voice, she has since expanded her musical range. With 5 records to her name and successful tours across Canada, Europe, and Japan, Canadian singer-songwriter Mallory Chipman is forging new paths on the music scene. Her music blends multiple genres, and alongside her performance work, Mallory is an esteemed music scholar and educator, vocal coach, and recently founded Canada's first-ever co-operative record label, Tunnel Mountain Records. Mallory Chipman's versatility, powerful voice, and entrepreneurial spirit have made her a multifaceted force in Canadian music.
