About

Stephanie Cadman grew up in Canada's capital, Ottawa, and was born into a musical family. She was drawn to the fiddle and developed a passion for dance and theatre starting at age 4. Stephanie Cadman is described as a quadruple threat - a world-renowned dancer, an accomplished actress of stage and screen, a celebrated violinist, and a great singer. Stephanie began her professional stage and music career at a young age as a lead in the hit musical Swingstep. She later had a starring role in the Mirvish Production of Once and has built a celebrated career as an in-demand fiddler and choreographer. She won numerous awards including a world tap dancing Championship when she was just 16 years of age. Maintaining a busy touring schedule both as a Canadian Folk Award-nominated solo musician and as a member of the all-female country trio Belle Starr, Stephanie has rocked audiences across North America and beyond. She has released two solo albums, Celtic Blaze and the Canadian Folk Award nominee Foggy New Year, both of which feature her impeccable fiddle and high, lonesome voice. She has shared the stage with everyone from Barney Bentall, Alan Doyle, Oscar Peterson to the Chieftains and Carlos Nunez. Stephanie Cadman's virtuosic fiddle playing, dynamic stage presence, and versatility across multiple performance disciplines have made her one of Canada's most exciting and multi-talented performers. Her ability to excel in music, dance, and theatre simultaneously showcases an exceptional artistic range.
