Aidan Knight is a Canadian indie folk singer-songwriter from Victoria, British Columbia, born October 23, 1986. He grew up in Victoria where his parents owned a second-hand store, and became a regular of the local music scene, playing in numerous bands before branching out on his own with the release of his debut single "First Takes" in 2008. Knight is known for his experimental indie folk sound, characterized by introspective songwriting and atmospheric production. He has released four critically acclaimed studio albums: "Versicolour" (2010), "Small Reveal" (2012), "Each Other" (2016), and a self-titled album "Aidan Knight" (2020) on the indie label Full Time Hobby. His music is described as experimental indie folk with elements of singer-songwriter and art pop. In addition to his solo work, Knight has performed and recorded with several notable Canadian artists including The Zolas, Hannah Georgas, Dan Mangan, Karkwa, Jeremy Fisher, and We Are the City, demonstrating his versatility and collaborative spirit.
